I re-shot my cover, editing pictures more and also changed the colours so that it fit the 3 colour palette rule. From this i then changed my contents to create more continuity and also re shot some pictures there. I then also created my double page spread inspired my my cover and contents I had already created. I used the old cover to make a subscription section to my contents to make it resemble professional practice.
because i decided to change my magazine, i therefore made changes to the costume, locations and fonts. some of the changes follow:
COSTUME:
i have decided to put the model on the front in a leather jacket and a silky top as i thought it would make her look more edgy, unique yet still bold and pop like. i made her hair big and slightly backcombed. i decided to edit the photo on the cover as i thought it would enhance the colour emphasising the genreof the magazine. I re-shot the contents pictures as i wasnt happy with the original ones as i didnt think they looked professional. i also edited the girl band enhancing colour etc and i also re-shot the boy band to make them look more fun and carefree.
FONTS:
i changed some fonts, i didnt change the mast head (disco diva) but i did change the sell lines and other smaller fonts throughout the magazine as i thought the new fonts were more appropriate to the magazine and genre.LOCATIONS:

I changed the location on the cover to the bridge instead of the studio. it was the colour of the bridge that inspired some of the colour palette of the entire magazine. i did this to make the magazine look as professional as possible. i also used the studio for the girl band picture on the contents and the main picture on the DPS. i used the bridge for the smaller picture on the DPS as well, then i went to a new location for the boys picture. i took the picture in a local park (new risk assessment for this location below). the park connotes a more fun enviroment and it made it more natural shot.
